2016 King's Cross Bee trail

Take part in a
technology-powered bee trail in the heart of buzzing King's Cross

JUNE 5TH - SEPTEMBER 4TH 2016
AVAILABLE ON ANDROID AND IOS FROM JUNE 4TH

How it works

We’ve embedded state-of-the-art technology at eight stops along a 60-minute walking trail. As you go from one stop to another, you’ll learn about bees, their environment and their relationship to people, you’ll be able to take part in our citizen science project and become bee-spotters for a few minutes, as well as get to know one of London’s fastest growing and coolest new areas.

We’ve also teamed up with local restaurants and cafes to offer discounts, should you need a break.

There’s lots to do and see in King’s Cross, so download the app and come along for a visit. The Bee Trail will be available between 5 June and 4 September, 2016.

  • German Gymnasium
  • Granary Square
  • Canalside
  • Handyside Gardens (South)

Getting to the Bee Trail

The King’s Cross St Pancras station links up six London Underground lines. From there it’s just a short walk to the start of the Bee Trail at the German Gymnasium.

Walk down Pancras Road, which is inbetween King’s Cross and St Pancras stations, past the taxi ranks until you reach Battle Bridge Place. On your right you will see IFO by Jaques Rival (the bird cage sculpture). The German Gymnasium will be on your left.

Look out for the wooden hexagonal signs, the first stop is outside the German Gymnasium.
